Color Management Systems

Less than a decade ago, color reproduction was almost entirely a conventional (analog) process and the domain of a highly specialized group of experts. Today, advances in electronic publishing technology have made digital color available to anyone with the appropriate computer hardware and software. Awareness of color issues is now required by all those involved in the production process from designers to prepress personnel to press operators. Color evaluation occurs at all stages of production workflow.
